CMA - Foundation Course information

ADMISSION


Admission is open throughout the year.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:


candidate should have passed Class 10 or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution. 
OR 
Passed Senior Secondary Examination under 10+2 scheme of a recognized Board or an Examination recognized by the Central Government as equivalent thereto or has passed National Diploma in Commerce Examination held by the All India Council for Technical Education or any State Board of Technical Education under the authority of the said All India Council, or the Diploma in Rural Service Examination conducted by the National Council of Higher Education.

LAST DATE OF REGISTRATION AT ICAI (Cost Accountants of India)


  • At least four months prior to the month in which examination is held.
  • Accordingly, the time line for Foundation Course are:

REGISTRATION FEES WITH ICAI – 4,000/-

SUBJECTS & EXAMINATION PATTERN: 


  • 4 papers & All papers are of Objective Type -
    • Fundamentals of Economics & Management
    • Fundamentals of Accounting
    • Fundamentals of Law & Ethics
    • Fundamentals of Business Mathematics & Statistics

EXAMINATION:


  • Examination is conducted 2 times in each calendar year, (i.e. June & December)
  • EXAMINATION FEES WITH ICAI - Rs. 1,200/-
  • Last date for submission of application for appearing in the examination
    • For June Examination: Last Week of Feb.
    • For Dec. Examination: Last Week of Sept.
  • Medium of Examination: 
    The Institute allows facility to students to appear in examination in English as well as in Hindi.
  • Passing Criteria: 
    A candidate is declared to have passed the Foundation examination, if he/she secures at one sitting a minimum of 40% marks in each paper and 50% marks in the aggregate of all subjects. Negative marking for wrong answer is not applicable.
CMA - Inter  Course information

ADMISSION


Admission is open throughout the year.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:


(a) Passed Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2) and Foundation Course of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India/ Graduation in any discipline other than Fine Arts/ Foundation (Entry Level) Part I Examination of CAT of the Institute/ Foundation (Entry Level) Part I Examination and Competency Level Part II Examination of CAT of the Institute 
(b) Passed Foundation of ICSI/Intermediate of ICAI by whatever name called along with 10+2.

LAST DATE OF REGISTRATION AT ICAI (Cost Accountants of India):

  • At least four months prior to the month in which examination is held.

EXAMINATION:


  • Examination is conducted twice a year in June and December. Student can appear either one module (first or second) or both Module at one sitting
  • EXAMINATION FEES WITH ICAI (Cost Accountants of India) Rs. 1200/- per Module. (If delay Rs 300/- Late Fees)
  • Last date for submission of application for appearing in the examination
    • For June Examination: Last week of April month.
    • For Dec. Examination: Last week of Oct. month.

Passed Examination of Intermediate of ICMAI.

  • At least four months prior to the month in which examination is held.
  • Frequency of exams: 2 times in each calendar year, (i.e. June & December) 

REGISTRATION FEES WITH ICMAI:
